What happened to Elden Ring?

Seeing from far away, near the outer heavens and place among the stars, Mohg witnessed the downfall of the Golden Order established by Godfrey. One with the sole power over life and all existence showed Mohg the future. A truce was formed with the Everlasting. Mohg would pact to be born once more, with the sole mission of saving Miquella and the Elden realm. A priest approached the event, he happened to have heard Mohg would set on a quest, and kindly requested to aid Mohg. The Everlasting commanded him to watch over Leyndell where trouble would be imminent, on the castle undergrounds. Morgott was added to the quest, and both were reborn twins from Queen Marika. The temple for Mohg, and the castle for Morgott, time to gather wisdom, and wait for the tarnished to rise up. Mohg's temple holds many secrets and is the place where he chose to watch over Miquella. Chaos opposes order, and mostly everyone and a few remained corrupted not. To remain uncorrupted, Mohg cleansed Miquella's blood, and Miquella's spirit roamed the temple. A cursed sword, a very powerful trident, and the teachings of blood would be the gifts for the tarnished champion, to aid him on his quest to becoming The Elden Lord.
