Batman: Return of the Joker, known as Batman: Revenge of the Joker in Japan, is an action-platforming video game developed and published by Sunsoft. Originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991, it offered players an exciting and challenging adventure featuring the iconic DC Comics superhero, Batman.


In Batman: Return of the Joker, players assume the role of Batman as he battles against his arch-nemesis, the Joker, who has escaped from Arkham Asylum and is wreaking havoc on Gotham City.
